Cinema Voyage - Michael Pearson

This blog is PRIMARILY about movies. Some dvd and some that are still in the theater. Also, links are provided on some movies if you decide you want to purchase it. Also, I write and read quite a bit. So, you may, from time to time see a book review here from an up-and-coming author or an interview with one. If you have a book that you have written, please don't hesitate to contact me if you want an unbiased opinion. I would be happy to read and review what you've written. We should value our creative people more.

Best Movie Love Scenes!

March 25th 2008 06:08

A collection of popular movie love scenes.

* The Notebook – Starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams
After an unforgettable summer, Noah and Allie part ways. Seven years later on the verge of Allie’s wedding she goes to see Noah. After sharing a passionate kiss, Noah then carries Allie upstairs where they begin their tryst.

* Original Sin – Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie
Quite an intense, graphic love scene in an otherwise average film.

* The Virgin Suicides –Kirsten Dunst, and Josh Hartnett.
Tastefully done by Sofia Coppola, Lux Lisbon’s (Dunst) first sexual encounter after a high school dance. Beautifully filmed, who could forget the poignant moment when Lux wakes up alone on the football field after being left by ‘bad boy’ Trip (Hartnett).

* Dirty Dancing – Starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey
The beautifully sensual ‘love/dance scene’ in Dirty Dancing earned Swayze a legion of females fans around the world.

* Titanic – Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet
Symbolically the hand on the fogged car window is one of the most popular images from the 1997 motion picture.

*Romeo and Juliet – Leonardo Di Caprio and Clair Danes
After killing Juliet’s cousin Tybalt, Romeo and Juliet share a passionate night together before Romeo’s eventual banishment.

* Top Gun – Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis
Maverick and Charlie’s fervent encounter, over Berlins ‘You Take My Breath Away’.

* Ghost – Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore
Who knew pottery could be so sexy? One of the best faux love scenes ever made.

* Cruel Intentions – Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair
Not really classified as a love scene but I think their steamy kiss, deserves more of a mention over Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon’s love scene.

You are really romantic by natural, aren't you babe.

Cool.

Well, personally my idea about a good love scene is one where the best mate or husband walk in on them. Much more dramer that way.

Anyway, great post

Cheers
