Based on the book of the same name by Judi Barrett, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs focusses on a town where food falls from the sky. Sporting an interesting vocal cast, actors include Anna Faris, Bruce Campbell, James Caan and Mr T to name a few.
The movie follows scientist Flint Lockwood who has spent his entire life creating inventions that were unwanted or faulty. Finally while trying to solve world hunger he develops a method to directly convert water into food and releases the effects on the world. Hunger is eliminated as weather delivers food, but a problem of global proportions soon evolves, as the food weather gets out of control.
The movie is due for release mid September.
