Favourite Books to feature films!! Part 1
Some of our favourite literary works are being turned in to major Hollywood productions. Slated for release in 2008 and 2009, these are a few movies to look out for!
1. Twilight - Written by Stephanie Meyer
Twilight tells the story of Isabella (Bella) Swan who moves to Forks, Washington. She finds herself attracted to the mysterious Edward Cullen, later making the startling discovery that Edward is in fact a vampire. Dating Edward does have its drawbacks and Bella finds her life in danger when a vampire coven sweeps into town.
Twilight spawned two other successful continuations New Moon, Eclipse and the soon to be released and final Novel in the series Breaking Dawn.
The movie will star Kristen Stewart (In the land of women, Into the Wild) as Bella Swan, Robert Pattinson (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) as Vampire heartthrob Edward Cullen, and directed by Catherine Hardwicke (Thirteen).
