Well this week im going to go with a beautiful track by Cary Brothers and an absolute classic by Pink Floyd.
1. Ride – Cary Brothers, from his second EP ‘Waiting for your Letter’.
Why this song is not well known is a complete mystery to me, it’s absolutely amazing. Brother’s voice, well to me anyway, has a striking similarity to ‘Deftones’ front man Chino Moreno.
Best part: The guitar melody, his voice, the whole song!
2. The Great Gig in the Sky – Pink Floyd from the album ‘Dark Side of the Moon’.
What can one say to give this track justice, it is utterly divine. From the striking piano arrangements to Clare Torry’s soaring vocal ‘solo’. Brilliant!!!
Best part: To hard to pick…the whole song!

Re: Cary Brothers, he is great, he was also in Garden State with a song I was obsessed with a few years ago, "Blue Eyes". If you haven't seen that movie, you should.
