Favourite Two Songs of the Week
May 18th 2008 08:17
I have chosen two extremes this week!
1) La Vie En Rose - Edith Piaf
Piaf was a French singer and cultural icon who is widely accepted as France's greatest pop singer.
I personally have no idea what she is singing about, but translated 'La Vie En Rose' means 'Life in pink' or 'Life as a Rose'. From reading the lyrics the main message I got was to be optimistic in life.
I particularly love it sung by Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina.
Im hoping to check the movie out in the next couple of weeks.
2) The Bounce - Hadouken
Honestly the weirdest sounding song ever, but I love it, listening to it makes me feel like im in an old nintendo game. Funnily enough they sample Nintendo game boy sounds.
Hadouken are a Grindie, new rave, techno, dance punk band from Leeds, England.
Best bit: .40 - 1.30
