Harrison Ford Wants Indiana Jones to Die!

The Complete Adventures
Ever since the release of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) the rumor mill has been pounding about the possibility of a fifth movie. Evidently, discussions concerning that film are underway and, in this one, Harrison wants Indy to die and pass the hat on to his son.
Showbizspy.com reported that Harrison had the following to say:
“George especially is resisting the notion but Steven is considering it. Funnily enough Harrison wanted the same for Han Solo in the final Star Wars but George put an end to it. This time he doesn’t have all the say though.”
Excuse me? Shia Lebeouf as a replacement? I hope not. He was ok as a kid in Holes and Transformers and is, honestly, becoming a decent actor in his own right, but let's be real! Shia does not have the screen presence to pull off being the next Indiana Jones. Daniel Ratcliff being groomed for James Bond in the future is ok. Such is the nature of the role. However, I can't see myself going to watch a film, in which, the main character is named "Mutt."
Either way, in my opinion, if Indiana is killed off in some heroic scene where he is saving others, great. A good end for a good character. It should be left at THAT. Indy died. Mutt's sad and goes on with life. PLEASE do not don the fedora and go off searching for Yamashita's Gold.
That's my thought on the subject. What do you think? Should Shia replace Harrison or should he just be allowed to die?
